I think I’m not alone in this position. I live in Cyprus for a long time, but there is no work permit, and it’s quite difficult to find work in our village. This is a universal specialist who helps an entrepreneur to conduct business on the Internet – fills the pages in social networks, imposes landing pages and presentations, organizes webinars and organizes the mailing list. Depending on previous experience, an assistant may specialize in one direction or another. But in general, this is a person who is well-versed in the Internet, can find the necessary service, write a request, monitor contractors and be the multi-armed multi-handler who removes routine duties from an entrepreneur. And no matter what country the entrepreneur lives in or what citizenship the Virtual Assistant has – they meet and collaborate on the Internet.

I googled and realized that in the English-speaking environment this profession is very common, even there are associations of business assistants. There is less information in the Russian-language space, but there are several schools for training virtual assistants. It’s good that I started to learn in advance, so I even managed to sleep and lead clients that I found right there next to me. I do not promise an easy life – it will be necessary to study and work a lot, information on the Internet is changing quickly, Facebook, for example, innovations every week, every day more and more people enter the labor market. You will need to build your work schedule and think about time management. For example, I typed a draft of this article on the phone in the Google Kip while the pedicure master was working with my feet. And I had to reject one very promising proposal, because I understood that either work or family was not given a third, I could not cope with everything at the moment.
The profession of a virtual assistant is a good step for those who leave the decree and live in a place where it is difficult to get a job. This is a profession for someone who knows how to work with a large amount of information and is able to organize work processes of himself.
